Resto druid application

Postby Flippocus on Tue Jul 27, 2010 7:28 pm

RL Name: Robert Clarke
Age: 18
Country: England
Primary play times: Server time 16:00 - 12:00
Internet connection: (is it fast/slow, do you get any lag?) I don't lagg too often, it's usually server lagg if i do.
Computer: (please include your fps) HPw1907v - 61 fps

Character name: Flippocus
Character class: Druid
Talent Spec: Restoration / Balance
Character level: (you must be level 80) 80
Your character’s Armory profile: (please include this as any apps posted without it will be locked)http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Khadgar&cn=Flippocus
Total /played time: 47 days

Character tradeskill professions and levels: 420 tailoring for the cloak enchant and 450 skinning for my previous mainspec moonkin, since alot of crit is needed and it's easy money.
Notable patterns/formulas etc:

Character WOTLK instance progress:
Naxx - cleared
Icc - Cleared on 10man, 11/12 on 25, with 7 heroic modes on 10man.
EOE - Cleared
VOA - Cleared
Toc - Cleared 4/5 heroic on 10man.
Ony - Cleared
RS - Cleared on 25man, joined a saved raid so i haven't killed the mini bosses yet.
Uldu - I haven't done a huge amount in ulduar because when ulduar was being raided mainly i wasn't 80, although i did get a chance to kill some bosses, the hardest being yogg25 and on 10man Algalon

Character TBC instance progress: I didn't play during TBC unfortunately.

Previous guild(s): (names and reasons for leaving) Paradigm - I left because the guild decided to stop doing 25mans and i wanted a challenge since normal mode bosses in icc are very simple.
Previous MMOG experience: Don't laugh please, runescape :<
Previous gaming experience: Just console games like Mario cart double dash, nothing notable :)

Why you would like to join: Because of the good reputation Bovine have for being good raiders and nice people and from pugs i've noticed people from bovine are very mature and conciderate.
What are your goals in Wow: Mainly to have fun but to do that i like a challenge so heroic mode bosses are what i hope for the most.

Please tell us a joke: There was something about you that I liked, but you spent it.

It's up to Anderos ofc, but I got some issues with you gearing/spec/glyphs.

If you had a spec that doesn't involve Nature's Grace, then you still would be overcapped on haste, the items with SP/crit, I take it those are double purpose items, or just plain balance items (including enchant). Which is fine, aslong as you know that, and you bring it across. Judging on your gear, I would say you're a Balance druid, or had it as main spec until you app'ed for BI. Again, that's fine, does mean you need gear though.

The shoulder enchant isn't really PvE-orientated. The 15crit or the 8mp5 is very nice instead of a useless stat for PvE (I would suggest the mp5).

That's gear and spec (you really don't use/need Nature's Swiftness?), what about your glyphs. Glyph of Rapid Rejuvenation is a single that boosts your output by ALOT, with just 1 glyph. You took nourish, which is okay for some fights, but overall, rapid RJ would serve the Rdruid much better.

Final comment, how do you feel about the 4sT10 for 10 and for a 25m environment?

Yeah the glyph of rapid rejuvenation i did have before, but i decided to try a feral spec just for a day and i replaced it. I've got the glyph back now so that's sorted. My haste issue is being sorted, i've got marrowgar's weapon: The Frozen bonespike but i'm just waiting for an offhand to go with it, this will result in alot more crit and spell power at the expense of unwanted haste. And yes i was previously a balance druid :)

The 4set bonus for t10 resto druids hasn't impressed me much i don't think it's very useful in 10mans and i don't think it's a huge improvement in 25mans however i am working on getting it since the stats are basically the same as the gear i have but containing a tier bonus, it will be sorted.

I've sorted a few things, my haste has dropped alot since i've replaced a ring, waist, wrist and my staff to Trauma and an offhand.
Gained quite alot more SP and crit at the cost of haste.

Hey there,

I am sorry to inform that after some discussions with other officers we decided that for the time being we cannot home another resto druid (we have 2 active and another often used dualspecc).

I will keep your app on file so to speak. GL finding a suitable guild for now.
